Sanitary napkins distributed among students

Faculty of Nursing, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University, in collaboration with Nine Foundation has launched a programme to distribute sanitary pads to female students and faculty members with the aim to promote personal hygiene.

The campaign includes the distribution of sanitizers among boys.

Dr. Vijay Sharma, Dean, Students’ Welfare, said that in today’s time people have become very cautious about their personal hygiene and even in cinema, movies are being made on such themes to generate awareness among the people.

He said that generating awareness of personal hygiene is one of the responsibilities of the university.

Dr. Vijay Sharma said that the global pandemic Coronavirus is not over yet, so everyone should have a habit of social distancing, applying masks, and washing hands or sanitizing regularly. He said that keeping this and special care in mind,
