SGT College of Pharmacy, SGT University, Gurugram has organized SERB-DST (Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology), Government of India sponsored 3rd National Conference on Pharmacy Practice on the theme “Telemedicine: Opportunities and Challenges – Role of Pharmacist” in association with #IPGA on Saturday, 18th March 2023.
The chief guest for the event was Dr. Montu M Patel, President, Pharmacy Council of India. In this talk, he highlighted Telemedicine as a tool for transforming and modernizing health care.

SGT University officials, Prof. (Dr) Rakesh K Sharma, Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Vikas Dhawan Vice Chancellor, Dr. Atul Nasa, Pro Vice-Chancellor present during the conference felicitated other invitees and also welcomed the dignitaries and students.
The event saw more than 500 people from various regions of India. During scientific sessions, lectures/presentations were delivered by invited expert speakers from Academia and Pharma industry. There were about 130 scientific posters on the conference’s theme that were presented by young, aspiring scientists. A unique feature of the conference is the participation of a vast number of speakers from the pharma industry, to strengthen academia-industry collaboration for affordable healthcare.
