SGT University collaborates with Electric One Mobility Private Limited to inaugurate the Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicle

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SGT University and Electric One Mobility Private Limited have collaborated to inaugurate the Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicles. SGT University believes in inculcating the technological mind-set in students and imparting knowledge to build scientific temper in generations.­­­­SGT University together with Electric One Mobility Pvt. Limited, signed the Memorandum of Understanding and inaugurated the Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicle

Managing Trustee Mr. Manmohan Singh Chawla, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) O.P. Kalra, Pro Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) R.K.Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor Academics Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, Registrar Dr. Joginder Yadav, Dean External Affair and Director Outreach, Dr. Rajneesh Wadhwa, Advisor to Chairman, Mr. Rajesh Gulati, Dean Research and Development, Dr. Meenakshi Munshi, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof (Dr.) Sahil Verma, Dean of other faculties, Head of Departments, and Professors of SGT University were also present for the grand launch.

Mr. Amit Das, Founder, and CEO of Electric One Mobility Pvt. Limited, Mr. Dheeraj Tripathi, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Ms. Sushma Tripathi, Programme Head-Skill Next Program, Mr. Anil Narang, LEAD- After Sales & Logistics, and Mr. Ashish Kumar, Senior Partner Success Manager were among the other dignitaries in attendance at the inauguration.

The Electric Vehicle Centre of Excellence (CoE), established in partnership with Electric One Mobility Pvt. Limited, aims to educate, engage, and elevate students to be future-ready in an altered EV environment. EV will create new employment opportunities for the nation. This CoE helps incorporate new modules into the current curriculum in collaboration with Electric One Mobility. Academic institutions are genuinely focused on providing the appropriate skill set to their students in light of industrial participants adopting EV technology, and with this endeavor, SGT University is undoubtedly looking for wider opportunities.

According to Mr. Amit Das, founder, and CEO of Electric One Mobility Pvt. Limited, focusing on the battery technology that powers an EV is a significant behavioral change. The country’s leading EV manufacturers are currently seeking young, talented, and creative workers, and the Centre of Excellence will serve as an excellent starting point for young professionals who want to work in the EV sector.

The Centre of Excellence’s certification and curriculum-based experience programme will meet the students’ critical skill needs for the rapidly expanding futuristic industry segment of electric vehicles. In the upcoming years, it will present excellent professional and academic prospects, but most importantly, this programme will support India’s EV Vision. The training and research sectors will be the emphasis of the Centre of Excellence. The centre’s planned programmes will provide students with a wide range of possibilities, including certifications, curriculum-based credits, live projects, start-up opportunities, and funding, in addition to fantastic career and further education opportunities.
