Department of Paediatrics, FMHS organised a Workshop on Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPD) in the Hospital Auditorium.
Organizing Chairperson, Dr. Pankaj Abrol Professor & Head, Department of Paediatrics invited all the Faculty members and PG students from Ear Nose Tongue department, General Medicine & Community Medicine departments of SGT Medical College to ensure maximum participation of related medical staff & dissemination of the knowledge amongst them.
Eminent speaker Dr. Bindu Yadav, Surveillance Officer in WHO, Gurugram enlightened the audience with her interesting and informative session.
The motive of the workshop was to create awareness about the new guidelines about Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPD) among young doctors & healthcare workers. Renowned speaker Dr. Bindu Yadav, Surveillance Officer in World Health Organization, delivered lectures on various sub-topics related to Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPD). She talked about the National Immunization schedule and explained where and how to store the vaccines. All the aspects of the Program were covered ardently & enthusiastically.
The Workshop was a successful event with maximum participation from all the registered delegates.
