SGT University Celebrates Unity Through Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat
SGT University in Gurugram recently celebrated the spirit of unity in diversity with its vibrant event, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Chapter 2, held on April 27 and 28, 2026. The campus transformed into a “mini India,” bringing together students from various states to showcase their rich cultural heritage.
The event featured a variety of activities designed to highlight India’s diversity. One of the main attractions was “Libaas,” a traditional attire parade where students presented regional clothing. “Apni Boli Apna Raag” celebrated the folk music and languages from across the country, while “Mitti Ki Dhvani” focused on cultural expression through performances and storytelling.
Students also took part in “Apna Khana,” where they showcased regional cuisines, allowing everyone to experience India’s culinary diversity. The “Hamari Dharohar” segment featured handcrafted models of iconic monuments, reflecting the country’s historical richness.
In addition to the events, SGT University’s hostel life plays a crucial role in fostering cultural exchange. Students from diverse backgrounds live together, share traditions, and cultivate a strong sense of unity, creating a home-like environment where differences are celebrated and respected.
