Students from SPbPU made a strong showing at the International Student Legal Forum «SLF International» held at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University in Yerevan. This two-week event saw participation from 14 universities across Russia and Armenia.
Representing SPbPU, students Valery Pivnitsky and Evgeny Mednis presented their research, guided by associate professors Natalia Danshina and Valentina Gogoleva from the Higher School of Law and Forensic Science. Evgeny Mednis stood out, winning a prize for his outstanding report on «Cyber Law and Cyber Security» at the round table session. His impressive performance earned him an internship opportunity at Fora Bank’s branch in St. Petersburg.
The forum featured a variety of activities including discussions, round tables, and master classes covering topics like the evolution of legal systems in the CIS and EAEU countries, and contemporary international law challenges in a shifting geopolitical landscape.
«SLF International» is a collaborative effort by O.E. Kutafin University (MGJA), RAU, and now SPbPU. This event is an extension of the Student Legal Forum, fostering collaboration between students, faculty, and legal professionals from Russia and abroad.
