The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, SGT University organized the School Health Programme at TRH Public School, Jhajjar
Pflege Association under the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, SGT University organized the School Health Programme on “Adaptation of a healthy lifestyle during adolescence” at TRH Public School, Jhajjar on 17th February 2023, under the guidance of Prof (Dr). Pity Koul, Professor and Dean Faculty of Nursing & Prof. (Dr.) Akoijam Mamata Devi, HOD Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing.
The program was coordinated by Ms. Poonam, Ms. Banapriya, and Ms. Neeti Goyal PG Tutors in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing. The following activities were carried out by MSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, and ANM students during the program.
– A role play on healthy & unhealthy lifestyles and its impact total of 185 school students were involved
– Lecture on prevention and management of common adolescent health problems total of 64 school students attended
– Demonstrated menstrual hygiene where 38 adolescent girls took part
– Health assessment of a total of 185 school students was done by the PG students of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing.
The program was highly appreciated by Mrs. Poonam Gulia, Principal, & school administration.
