The Department of Public Health Dentistry conducts an oral health screening program

The Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University conducted an oral health screening program on 16th December 2022 (Friday) at Vishal Bharti Senior Secondary School, Pitampura, Delhi.  

The Dental team was headed by Dr. Surbhi Priyadarshi (Senior Lecturer, Department of Public Health Dentistry) along with 1 postgraduate Dr. Prince Rathee (Department of Pedodontics) 5 Interns Shiwani, Shalley, Shweta, Swati, Tanisha, and 1 attendant Mr. Rajkumar. A total of 214 students from classes VIIth to Xth were examined, including 131 boys and 83 girls. Along with students, an oral health examination was done for some of the teachers and supporting staff members in the school. An oral health talk session was delivered, including the importance of brushing, the procedure of mouthwash usage, and oral hygiene instructions.
