The Faculty of Nursing, SGT University organizes a health awareness camp for ‘Anemia Mukt Bharat’.

The wellbeing Association under the Community Health Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University, Gurugram has organized a health awareness camp for ‘Anemia Mukt Bharat (AMB)’ with a focus on its 6×6×6 STRATEGY, at Mubarakpur Village –Gurugram (HR) on 09th February 2023 at 10:30 am. The main objective of the event was to connect and expand awareness among patients about Anemia conditions, and their symptoms; and to encourage individuals to take preventive steps to avoid Anemia. The main focus remains on women of reproductive age as they are more prone to Anemia in Indian villages. A total of 108 individuals in different age groups visited the camp.
The activities in the camp included Anemia assessment for women and children of different age groups, Hemoglobin (Hb) estimation, and counseling. The program was organized by B.Sc. Nursing 4th year and M.Sc. Nursing 2nd Year students under the supervision of faculty members of the Community Health Nursing Department and under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Dular, H.O.D, Community Health Nursing Department, and Dr. Pity Kaul, Dean, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University. We are thankful to Sarpanch Shri. Satinder Rana of Mubarakpur Village for immense support and collaboration for the successful organization of the camp said the nursing department.
