Union budget focuses on the welfare of every section, Haryana Chief Minister

Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar said that the budget for the year 2022-23 presented by the Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman is focused on digitalization and infrastructure development.
The budget has been prepared ensuring development in every sector and welfare of each section of the society including farmers, employment, education and health, added Sh. Manohar Lal.
Khattar congratulated Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman for this budget.
He said that the budget has been prepared to lay the foundation for steering economic developments during the next 25 years. The strong foundation should be laid so that Sustainable Development Goals can be fulfilled, added Khattar
Khattar said that today the world is moving towards the era of technology, so special attention has been paid to the field of Information Technology. Similarly, bringing much required infrastructural reforms has also been emphasized in the budget, he added.
Khattar said that capital expenditure has been fixed on large scale, because higher the capital expenditure, the stronger the country will become. The economy of the country will also be strengthened due to higher capital expenditure.
Khattar said that more emphasis has been laid on environment in the budget. Today the entire world is thinking about how to make life pollution free. Provision has been made in the budget for this sector as well.
Farmer friendly budget
The Chief Minister said that interest of farmers has been taken care of in the AMRUT budget. The government has announced a direct payment of Rs 2.37 lakh crore to 1.63 crore farmers for the purchase of wheat and paddy.
He said that the budget has also laid emphasis on employment for the youth. Besides this, the welfare of employees has also been taken care of.
States to get long term loan
Khattar said that in the budget announced today, a provision of giving Rs 1 lakh crore to the states as loan without interest for a long time has also been made so that the states can tackle any kind of economic situation and complete their tasks properly.
Highest GST collection till date
Khattar said that the GST collection for the last one month has been Rs 1 lakh 40 thousand crores, which is important in itself, as it is the highest collection ever. For this, the people of the country as well as the central government and all the departments deserve applause.
Target to increase the National Highway network to 25000 kilometers
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has planned for an express route under PM Gati Shakti. Under this, the national highway network will be increased to 25000 kilometers. The stronger the infrastructure, the more employment opportunities will increase.
Khattar said that 60 lakh people are going to get employment due to the implementation of the schemes of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
More emphasis on employment
Khattar said that when more projects come out of capital expenditure, the people would get permanent employment. Haryana will also get its share from the budget and will provide employment through all the projects.
He said that in Haryana, the State Government has made a provision of 75 percent with a view to providing employment to the local youth in private industries as well. Besides this, along with education, emphasis is also being laid on skill development so that youth can become employable.
Khattar said that Haryana Government has constituted the Department of Foreign Cooperation, with the help of which there is a plan to develop the skills of youth as per the requirement of manpower abroad and then send them abroad.
