Webinar on “Is Magnification Really Required? A Truth To Be Seen” by Dental Sciences at SGT University

The Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dental Sciences SGT University, Gurugram organized a webinar on Friday, 28th January 2022, 2 PM to 3 PM. The topic of webinar was “Is Magnification Really Required? The Truth to be Seen” by eminent speaker Dr. Nitish Kamboj. He got training under Dr. Maxim at Belograd Academy Ukrain for micro dentistry in the year 2018. Also, he has been awarded the medical excellence award in 2019 from the Chief Minister of Uttrakhand. He has delivered various lectures at National and International levels.

The new perspectives of microscopic magnifications were efficiently covered. Also, the speaker emphasized on benefits of utilization of magnification in dentistry and how advantageous it can be proved to both clinician and patients in dental treatment procedures. 

 The programme was conducted by Dr. Amit Bhardwaj ( Convenor, Perio -Unnati Association), Dr. Shalini Kapoor ( Advisor, Perio-Unnati Association) and Dr. Vidushi Sheokand ( Co-advisor Perio-Unnati Association). Dr.Shilpa Kamra Associate Professor and Dr Anurag Bhatnagar, Assistant Professor took active participation in the conduction of the event. There was an overwhelming response of around 190 participants from all parts of the country. The main aim of the webinar was to enhance clinical knowledge and skills. Overall the webinar was an inspirational guide to use microscopic aids in day-to-day dental practice. It was a very enlightening programme for undergraduates, Postgraduates, faculty members, and private practitioners.
