SGT University Hosts IDE Bootcamp 2026 Phase II

SGT University is currently hosting the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2026, an initiative by the All India Council for Technical Education and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell. Running from April 20 to 24, 2026, this bootcamp is part of Phase II of the third edition of this national-level initiative.

As one of the Nodal Centres, SGT University has brought together approximately 200 participants from across India, fostering a vibrant platform for innovation, collaboration, and experiential learning. Phase II of the bootcamp is being conducted across 13 locations nationwide after the successful completion of Phase I earlier this month.

The inaugural session featured Satish Kumar as the Chief Guest, alongside Ankush Sharma and experts from the Wadhwani Foundation, including Dr. M. Chitra, who are mentoring participants throughout the program. The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Atul Nasa and concluded with a vote of thanks from Rishi Sharma. The ongoing bootcamp is being coordinated by Ms. Chetna Arora and Mr. Ayush Kesharwani.

A standout feature of the event is a panel discussion titled “Navigating the Entrepreneurial Landscape,” where industry experts and startup founders share their insights on building successful ventures, overcoming challenges, and scaling ideas.

The bootcamp encompasses structured learning sessions on design thinking, customer discovery, value proposition, and startup development, combined with hands-on activities and mentorship. Participants are gaining exposure to incubation centers, funding opportunities, and intellectual property rights, culminating in a final pitch presentation on the last day.

With the SBI Foundation as the organizational partner, this initiative aims to empower young innovators to transform their ideas into impactful solutions, reinforcing the message that design can be a powerful agent of change.
