IDE Bootcamp 2026 Concludes With Innovation At SGT

SGT University successfully concluded the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2026, an engaging five-day event filled with innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning. Organized under the initiative of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, the bootcamp brought together bright young minds from across the country.

Hosted from April 20 to 24, 2026, SGT University served as one of the key nodal centers for Phase II of this national-level initiative. The event saw participation from over 170 individuals, who formed 39 dynamic teams, all working towards transforming their ideas into practical and impactful solutions.

Throughout the bootcamp, participants engaged in structured sessions focusing on design thinking, customer discovery, business modeling, and product development. These sessions were complemented by mentorship from industry experts and academic leaders, enabling students to refine their ideas and approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset.

One of the highlights of the event was a panel discussion on “Navigating the Entrepreneurial Landscape,” where experts shared valuable insights on building startups, overcoming real-world challenges, and scaling innovative ideas. Participants also gained exposure to incubation opportunities, funding avenues, and intellectual property rights, equipping them with essential knowledge for their entrepreneurial journeys.

The bootcamp culminated in an exciting finale Pitch Day, during which teams showcased their projects with creativity, confidence, and structured thinking. The presentations reflected not only technical understanding but also strong problem-solving abilities and business acumen.

Among the many impressive teams, the Top 5 stood out for their innovative approaches and impactful ideas. These included Git Coders, Axiom, Sahaj Mind, ForkLords, and BETA VERSION, all of whom were recognized for their exceptional performance during the final presentations.

The success of the IDE Bootcamp 2026 was made possible through the collective efforts of mentors, panelists, faculty members, and organizers who guided the participants at every stage. Their support ensured a meaningful and enriching experience for all attendees.

With initiatives like the IDE Bootcamp, SGT University continues to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, empowering students to turn their ideas into reality. The event reinforced the importance of design thinking as a powerful tool for creating solutions that can bring real change to society.
