SGT University Organises Employability Skills Workshop For BDS Students
To prepare students for successful professional careers beyond academics, the Faculty of Dental Sciences at SGT University, in collaboration with the Placement Cell and the Centre for Career Advancement, organized an insightful workshop titled “Employability Skill Series for BDS Students” on May 25, 2026.
The workshop took place at the SGT Dental College Hospital and Research Institute and aimed to equip Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) students with essential industry-ready skills needed in today’s evolving healthcare sector.
Dr. Sarju Devi, Head of Learning & Development at the Centre for Career Advancement, led the session and shared valuable insights on communication skills, professional excellence, career preparedness, adaptability, and confidence building. The workshop highlighted that a successful healthcare professional is not only defined by technical expertise but also by the ability to communicate effectively and connect with others.
