A Virtual Trip Back in Time- Alumni Meet 2022

The Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Technology hosted a virtual alumni gathering, inviting earlier batches – their seniors – to reminisce.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome from Prof. Sushil Manav, Dean FMMT, and Mr. Pankaj Rakesh, Advisor. All of the current FMMT batch’s faculty and students were present. Ms. Jyoti Yadav, an award-winning journalist with vast experience reporting on India’s vital issues, moderated the event. Ms. Jyoti Yadav went on to discuss her experiences before giving a few ideas that might assist students and alumni in advance in life. She also discussed her experience starting from scratch and reporting on Covid. She took questions from the crowd at the end of her talk.
Following Ms. Jyoti’s lecture, there was a brief interactive session in which alumni presented themselves to the current class of students. They gave tips and a few tricks of the trade that the students may use. The faculty also engaged in an interactive reunion with their former pupils.
The evening concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. Kranti Anand, HOD FMMT, and a promise to bring this grand event offline in the future, and get a chance to interact live with everyone.
