CUET 2024: Exam Postponed in Delhi, Check Dress Code Guidelines

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduates started on May 15, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is holding the exams from May 15 to May 29, with over 16 lakh students registered. Admit cards, exam timings, and guidelines are available on the official website,


Delhi Exam Postponed
The exam scheduled for May 15 in Delhi has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The new date is May 29, and revised admit cards will be issued on Subjects affected include Chemistry (306), Biology (304), English (101), and the General Test (501).


Admit Card Essentials
Students must bring a printout of the admit card to the exam hall. Without it, entry will not be permitted.


Dress Code Guidelines

For Males:
What to Wear:
– Light, simple clothes appropriate for the weather.
– Slippers or sandals with low heels.
What to Avoid:
– Hoodies or jackets.
– Belts and other accessories.
– Sleeved clothes.
– Metallic items.

For Females:
What to Wear:
– Light, comfortable clothes suitable for the weather.
– Slippers or sandals with low heels.
What to Avoid:
– Headgear or scarves.
– Rubber bands or hair clips.
– Jewelry or accessories.
– Henna or tattoos.


Guidelines for Unavoidable Items
Candidates wearing items for religious or cultural reasons should arrive at least two hours early to allow time for frisking. If an item is suspected to conceal a device, it may not be allowed in the hall. For medical reasons or other unavoidable circumstances, special approval from NTA is required before admit cards are released.

3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
4. View, download, and print your admit card.


Exam Details
The CUET UG 2024 will take place in three shifts per day, across multiple languages including Assamese, Bengali, English, and more. Exams will be held in 380 cities, including 26 cities abroad.
