Day 1 of the 49th NACIACP conference.

The 49th NACIACP conference Day 1 began with inaugration ceremony which included lamp lightning , saraswati vandana, welcome address by chairperson of organizing committee Professor Rajbir Singh , words of wisdom by Professor Waheeda Khan, address by chief guest professor Manoranjan Sahay , guest of honor by Professor Tej Bahadur Singh and address by vice chancellor Professor OP Kalra and Address by president Dr. Dharendra Kumar. It was followed by key note address by professor S.PK Jena on recent challenges in psychotherapy and supervision.
The day was planned with 4 scientific sessions by eminent speakers on various topics such as Mindfulness based CBt for adolescents : clinical challenges by speaker Dr. Paulomi Sudheer , Brain antioxidant Glutathione and Neuriimaging : Implications in Alzheimer’s disease by speaker Professor Pravat Kumar Mandal , Psychotherapy: Challenges in supervision and Dilemma in Indian context by Dr. Bholeshwar Mishra and Domestic violence and Mental health of women: still challenge in 21 st century by Dr. Vibha Sharma. The conference was carried over by symposiums on The effectiveness of third wave Cognitive behavioral therapy on young adults in Indian population, An analysis of school mental health programme in India , Neuropsychotherapy: An emerging paradigm towards Neuroscience Informed effective Psychotherapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy : Experience based discussion of Clinical skills , critical incident stress management techniques: An overview , Early childhood intervention : Scope of clinical psychology in preventing developmental disorders and optimizing development , clinical psychology at workplace , Integrating Vipasna meditation in psychotherapy : A challenging perspective , models of psychotherapy supervision : Emerging paradigms and Acceptance and Commitment therapy for Borderline personality disorder. Followed by paper presentation and poster sessions.
