The Faculty of Nursing, SGT University, organizes an Awareness program for Girl child at Govt. Middle School, Mubarakpur, Gurgram.
The well-being association under the community health nursing department of the faculty of nursing, SGT University conducted an Awareness program for Girl child under the theme “SASHAKT NAARI, SASHAKT SAMAAJ’’ on the occasion of Girl Child day at Govt. Middle School, Mubarakpur, Gurgram on Friday.
The program started with a welcome note from Ms. Santosh Kumari, a School teacher, and a total of 127 school students participated. An Expert talk, poster Competition, Quiz competition, and Role play. An expert talk by Dr. Auditi Narayan, Assistant professor, Faculty of Medical Health Sciences on the topic of Reproductive health Hygiene and Menstrual Hygiene and by Mrs. Nutan Kumari, Assistant Professor of Community Health Nursing on the topic of Nutrition of School Going Children.
The quiz and Poster competition winners were awarded with certificates and prizes.
The programme was organized by G.N.N, M.Sc. Nursing & B.Sc. Nursing 4th-year students under the supervision Faculty of Community Health Nursing Department under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Dular, HOD of Community Health Nursing.
The program was highly acknowledged and appreciated by Mr. Pawan Aryan, School Principal.
