Delhi School Academic Calendar 2025-26 Released: Summer Vacations from May 11, Check Complete Schedule

Delhi, April 16, 2025: The Directorate of Education (DoE) in Delhi has officially released the academic calendar for the 2025–26 session for all government and government-aided schools in the capital. This detailed schedule outlines important dates for vacations, examinations, and academic activities for both students and staff. 

According to the notification, summer vacations for Delhi schools will begin on May 11 and continue until June 30, 2025. It is important to note that June 28 and June 30 will be designated as working days exclusively for teachers, allowing time for administrative and academic preparations before classes resume.

The autumn break is scheduled from September 29 to October 1, 2025, providing students with a short mid-session break. Following this, the winter break will occur from January 1 to January 15, 2026. 

Regarding examination schedules, the academic calendar indicates that the results for the Compartment School Examination (CCSE) for Classes 5, 7, 9, and 11 will be announced on May 8, 2025. Additionally, the Common Pre-Board School Examination (CPSE) for Classes 10 and 12 is set to take place between December 15 and December 31, 2025, with results available on January 7, 2026. 

The Common Annual School Examination (CASE) for Classes 3 to 9 and 11 is tentatively scheduled from February 16 to March 21, 2026. The academic year for the 2025–26 session officially starts on April 1, 2025.

Parents, students, and school authorities are advised to note these important dates and plan accordingly. The Delhi DoE has also urged schools to adhere to this calendar to ensure academic uniformity and facilitate smooth session management.
