Department of Ophthalmology, SGT University organises workshop on “Intricacies of Glaucoma Workup”

Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences and Optometry, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, SGT University, under the aegis of SGT Ophthalmological Association and Oculus Academy organised a workshop on “- Intricacies of Glaucoma Workup” on 07th Feb 2022. The workshop began with a lecture on the various aspects of the topic followed by a Hands-on Demonstration of all essential steps of diagnosis of Glaucoma.
The workshop was aimed at upgrading the skills of Residents, Optometry Students and faculty of Ophthalmology & Optometry in the techniques of Comprehensive Evaluation of Glaucoma.
After a brief inauguration by Medical Superintendent Prof Jayanta Kumar Das, Hospital Director Administration, Brig. Prof Chander Mohan, Prof Dr. A. K. Khurana, Prof & Head, Dept. of Ophthalmology, welcomed the dignitaries and guest faculty and highlighted the importance of this workshop on Intricacies of Glaucoma Diagnosis
The Guest Speaker Dr.Manisha Rathi, Prof & Unit Head, Glaucoma Services, RIO, PGIMS, Rohtak, has a rich teaching and clinical experience. She is Glaucoma/Cataract Surgeon of international repute. She has many publications in national and international Journals. She has many Presentations at national & international forums,as invited Guest Faculty. The workshop began with a lecture on the various aspects of the topic followed by a Hands-on Demonstration of all important and essential steps of diagnosis of Glaucoma.
