Faculty of Physiotherapy in association with the Indian Association of Physiotherapy (IAP) and IAP Women Cell Haryana, Organizes a hands-on workshop

Faculty of Physiotherapy in association with the Indian Association of Physiotherapy (IAP) and IAP Women Cell Haryana, district Gurugram which is mentored by Dr. Niti Khurana (Haryana Coordinator, IAPWC), Dr. Sheetal Kalra (IAPWC Joint Coordinator Haryana), Dr. Priyanka Rishi (IAPWC District Coordinator and Associate professor at Faculty of Physiotherapy, SGT Univerisity) and Dr. Juhi Saxena (District Co-coordinator, IAPWC) Organized a hands-on workshop.
The resource person for the day was Dr. Deepak Malhotra from Jamia Hamdard University. He was welcomed by Dr. Pooja Anand Dean FPHY and Dr. Shyam Lal Singhala Advisor and Director, simulation training pedagogy & E lecture.
Dr. Shyam Lal Singhala addressed the gathering and presented saplings to the IAPWC members and resource person.
Dr. Deepak initially explained by giving a presentation on the significance of all the principles of using theraband in rehabilitation while giving a practical demonstration of the technique to the students.
Students practiced the taught techniques under the supervision of Dr. Deepak.
Learning this advancement by sir was another feather in the wings of physiotherapy students.
All the doubts of participants were clarified by Dr. Deepak with adequate justification.
Students received their certificates of participation from Dr. Deepak and other team members.
A vote of thanks and momento was given to the resource person by Dr. Priyanka Rishi on behalf of the Faculty of Physiotherapy and IAPWC Haryana who coordinated the whole event.
