The faculty of Physiotherapy organizes a Two-days workshop

The faculty of Physiotherapy organized two days of hands-on workshop on Neuro-Developmental Treatment: Therapeutic approach for rehabilitation of Patients with Neurological Impairments.
The program keynote speaker was Dr. Harpreet Singh, Advanced C/NDT, NDTA(USA), Department of Neurology, AIIMS, New Delhi on the 8th and 9th of April 2022.
Dr. Shyam Lal Singla along with the Dr. Pooja Anand, Dean FPHY presented a token of Momento to Dr. Harpreet Singh
Dr. Harpreet Singh addressed students regarding the importance of NDT for the rehabilitation of patients with neurological impairments.
The workshop was organized for MPT students, BPT Interns, and BPT final students leading to 35 no of total students along with 3 Faculty members specializing in Neurology.
The aim of the workshop was to teach students about the basic concepts of NDT, analysis of Human movements, postural control, and therapeutically handling during evaluation and intervention. Two days included teaching as well as a practical demonstration of the subjects.
The workshop also included students’ interaction as well as question-answer sessions for a better understanding of the topic.
Dr. Shyam Lal Singla in his welcome speech appreciated Dr. Harpreet for his valuable contribution to the field of Neuro-rehabilitation.
The workshop ended on 9th April, with a vote of thanks and Sapling Presented. by Dr. PoojaAnand to Dr. Harpreet Singh. Students received certificates for successfully completing the Hands-on Workshop.
