Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, SGT University, Gurugram through its department of Radiodiagnosis & Imaging on 08th April 2022 organized two Guest lectures and workshops on “Adult Chest imaging” and “Pediatric Chest imaging” by eminent radiologists and senior faculty in the field of Radiodiagnosis Dr. Lalendra Upreti, Professor & HOD, Department of Radiology, Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi and Dr.Natasha Gupta, HOD , Department of Radiology, Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalya, Pediatric Hospital, GNCT,New Delhi Consultant Radiology, University College of Medical Sciences & Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi. The workshop was organized under the guidance of Dr. B.B. Sharma, HOD, Department of Radio-diagnosis, FMHS, SGT University.
The purpose behind the event was to provide new learning opportunities in the field to the trainee resident doctors and faculty members. The event started with the felicitation of the eminent speaker followed by the main academic events. The event was immensely informative and enriching for the participants. The resident doctors participated enthusiastically in the interactive workshop. Dr. Reena Nayyar, Executive Director, FMHS, Dr. JK Das, Medical Superintendent, Prof. Chander Mohan, Director of Hospital Administration, HODs, faculty members & post-graduate resident doctors of clinical departments were present among other attendees. Continuing medical education with insights into the latest medical advances is the guiding philosophy of the Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences at SGT. The Radiology department plans to make such events a regular feature.
