Chandigarh, November 11- Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya presented the report of Haryana in the conference of governors held under the chairmanship of President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday. While presenting the report, he said that despite being a small state, Haryana has emerged as the hub of quality education, health, sports, and infrastructural facilities.
He further emphasised the programmes started by the government. “State Government is promoting programmes like Skill India, Digital India, Fit India, Self-reliant India. Under the Skill Development Mission, more than 80,000 youth have been trained in Haryana, due to which the self-reliant India programme has been further strengthened. Along with this, the ‘Super-100’ programme is also being run in Haryana. Under this programme, coaching for JEE and NEET exams is being provided.”
Dattatraya also said that Haryana is the first state in the country in which it has been decided to implement the National Education Policy by 2025 fully. Under the New Education Policy, the education system from KG to PG is also being started in the universities.
He informed that many farmer-friendly schemes like Meri Fasal-Mera Byora and Bhawantar Bharpayee Yojana have also been started. 500 Farmer Producer Organization (FPOs) has been formed in the state, through which more than 77,000 farmers have been connected.
Governor Sh. Dattatraya said that under e-governance, 547 schemes and services of 42 departments have been started online on Antyodaya Saral Portal which has curtailed corruption. With the implementation of Lal Dora Mukt Yojana, the village’s property has got special recognition and ownership rights to the landowners. Later, this scheme was also implemented in the whole country under the name of “Pradhan Mantri Swamitva Yojana”. Along with this, a social security pension of Rs 2500 per month is also being given in Haryana.
Speaking about better law and order situation in the state, the Governor said that Dial-112 service has been started in the state. He said that “Khelo Haryana” has been introduced on the lines of “Khelo India” to identify sports talents in the state and provide them with better sports facilities. Haryana has brought laurels to the country in sports. He said that along with the Raj Bhavan office, e-office, e-Granthalaya, e-learning, e-governance redressal, HRMS System, e-gram, and CFMS facilities have been started. He thanked everyone present in the conference and said that the guidance given by this conference of governors for the development of the states would prove to be a milestone in the future.
