IPL 2025 Rescheduled: 17 Matches from May 17 to June 3, Final Set for Ahmedabad

After a week-long suspension due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially released the revised schedule for IPL 2025, resuming the remaining 17 matches from May 17 to June 3. The final, initially planned for May 26, will now be held on June 3, per the updated announcement released late Monday night.

The decision to resume the league came after diplomatic conversations and ceasefire talks between Indian and Pakistani military authorities. Following assurance of national security and coordination with government and intelligence agencies, the BCCI decided to continue the season.

The remaining matches will be played across six cities — Bengaluru, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. Two double-header Sundays are included in the revised fixtures, maintaining fan engagement and competitive balance.

Here is the updated match schedule:

  • May 17: RCB vs KKR (7:30 PM, Bengaluru)

  • May 18: RR vs PBKS (3:30 PM, Jaipur), DC vs GT (7:30 PM, Delhi)

  • May 19: LSG vs SRH (7:30 PM, Lucknow)

  • May 20: CSK vs RR (7:30 PM, Delhi)

  • May 21: MI vs DC (7:30 PM, Mumbai)

  • May 22: GT vs LSG (7:30 PM, Ahmedabad)

  • May 23: RCB vs SRH (7:30 PM, Bengaluru)

  • May 24: PBKS vs DC (7:30 PM, Jaipur)

  • May 25: GT vs CSK (3:30 PM, Ahmedabad), SRH vs KKR (7:30 PM, Delhi)

  • May 26: PBKS vs MI (7:30 PM, Jaipur)

  • May 27: LSG vs RCB (7:30 PM, Lucknow)

The Playoff Schedule is as follows:

  • Qualifier 1: May 29

  • Eliminator: May 30

  • Qualifier 2: June 1

  • Final: June 3
