National Annual Review Meeting of Oral Health State Nodal Officers

Dr. Shourya Tandon, Associate Dean and Professor & Head, Public Health Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University was invited to attend and chair a session at the 3-Day National Annual Review Meeting of State Nodal Officers at CDER, AIIMS, New Delhi for the National Oral Health Program (NOHP) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India from 17 th to 19 th January 2023. He participated as a National Steering Group Member which was formed in June 2022 and contributed to the future endeavors of NOHP both at a central level and the level of various Indian States and Union Territories.
The meeting reviewed the working of pan-India States and encouraged learnings from one state to the other. It was a rich piece of experience on behalf of SGT University, to understand the functioning of State units of the NOHP and discuss the future course of actions
to ensure better oral health outcomes at the National level.
