Massive Fire Breaks Out In Noida High-Rise, Residents Safely Evacuated
A massive fire broke out on Friday morning in a residential high-rise society located in Sector 75, Noida, causing panic among residents and nearby locals. The incident occurred at the Ivy County residential society when flames suddenly erupted from a flat on the 12th floor of a 28-storey building.
According to officials, the fire started around 8 AM and rapidly spread through the apartment, producing thick black smoke that could be seen from a distance. Residents immediately alerted the fire department and police after noticing the flames.
As a precaution, the entire building was evacuated. Residents used the staircases to safely exit the tower while police officials moved occupants from nearby flats to secure locations. Firefighters and emergency response teams quickly arrived at the scene and launched an operation to control the blaze.
So far, no injuries or casualties have been reported, officials confirmed. Authorities stated that the timely evacuation and quick response by rescue teams helped prevent a major tragedy.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath acknowledged the incident and directed officials to reach the site immediately to closely monitor the rescue and relief operations. He further instructed authorities to ensure proper medical assistance if needed and maintain complete alertness during the operation.
The exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Officials have stated that an investigation will be conducted once the situation is fully under control.
