Nutri-Care Association organizes a one-day Women’s Training Program

Gurugram, April 26

Nutri-Care Association, Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, organized a one-day Women’s Training Programme on “Food Processing and Preservation Techniques” at the Nutrition Laboratory.

The training program was conducted for the skill enhancement of women of Village Khera-Khurrampur, Gurugram, and Haryana.

Postgraduate students of the department have narrated the importance and health benefits of preservation of fruits and vegetables in daily life and demonstrated the techniques of preparation of apple jam and orange squash to women.

The students and faculties of the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics have actively participated in the program.

The event was successfully conducted under the supervision of Dr. Akanksha Yadav Advisor, Nutri-Care Association, Dr. Renu Shrestha Co-Advisor, Nutri-Care Association, and Dr. G. B. Bhatt Assistant Prof., Department of Nutrition & Dietetics) and Dr. Vatsala Saharan Assistant Prof., Department of Nutrition & Dietetics.

The Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Prof. M. Ejaz Hussain, and Head of, the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics Dr. Barkha Bhatnagar interacted and distributed certificates and mementos to the participants.
