Chandigarh November 11- Padma Shri Awardee, Sh. Virender Singh alias Goonga Pehelwan met the Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal at his residence today.

During this meeting, discussions were held regarding the sports policy of the State and promotion of sports. The Chief Minister assured Goonga Pehelwan that he would definitely get the job and benefits for which he would be eligible as per the rules of the Haryana Sports Policy.

On the assurance of the Chief Minister, Sh. Virender Singh alias Goonga Pehalwan expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Minister.

It is evident that the sports policy of Haryana is appreciated not only in the country but in the foreign countries as well. Haryana also honours the players who have made remarkable performances at the National and International Level events with highest prize money. Delegations from other States have also visited Haryana to follow Haryana’s Sports Policy. Haryana Government is committed to promote, nurture and create harmonious environment for the players to grow.
