Samajik Vikas, SGT ka Prayaas (SVSP), SGT University organized a health camp on World Health Day with the theme of “Health for all” at Village Shiwadi, Gurugram.
Samajik Vikas, SGT ka Prayaas (SVSP), SGT University took the initiative to organize a health camp on World Health Day with the theme of “Health for all” on 07th April 2023 at Village Shiwadi, Gurugram. Various health initiatives were offered, including physician consultations, dental checkups, eye checkups, health assessments, nutritional assessments, hearing testing, role play, basic tests & investigations and free medicine distribution.
The health camp collaborated with the Faculty of Nursing, Dental, Medical, Allied Health, Mass Communication & Media Technology and the publicity team of SGT Hospital. The health camp provided comprehensive healthcare services to needy people with their combined efforts.
Over 200 village people attended the health camp, which shows the significant impact that SVSP, SGT University had in providing access to healthcare services in the village of Shiwadi, Gurugram. It’s also commendable that the health camp provided health education and need-based counselling to help the attendees manage their health better.
The health camp was thriving and conducted by the Faculty Coordinator and student members under the guidance of Dr. Sunil Kumar Dular, SVSP Central Coordinator and the support and collaboration of the Sarpanch of Shiwadi village. It’s an excellent example of how cooperation between organizations and community leaders can help improve access to healthcare services and promote health for all. The community-based approaches to healthcare can make a significant impact on people’s lives, particularly those living in underserved areas.
