SGT University inculcating NEP into the curriculum aspects by launching a comprehensive book and guide On Human Values & Professional Ethics

In a bid to foster ethical education among students, a grand book inauguration ceremony was held at A block, SGT University, to mark the release of a comprehensive guide on Human Values and Professional Ethics in line with the National Education Policy (NEP). The event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of academicians, students, and professionals eager to delve into the crucial aspects of ethical conduct.

The newly published book, titled ” Human Values and Professional Ethics’’, aims according to HEIs are required to create high-quality practices and an environment that is supported by human values and professional ethics to ensure their dignity and integrity.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with an inspiring keynote address by Dr. Sonia Rathee, an eminent academician and renowned authority on ethics. Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prof. Vinod Kumar emphasized the significance of integrating human values and ethical conduct into the educational system, highlighting their pivotal role in shaping responsible professionals and conscientious citizens.

 

During the event, Dr. Tejee Isha, the co-author of the book, shared their and others author Dr. Rajeshwari (SIMCA), Dr. Suganthi (IIT, Madras), Dr. Senduru (SIT), Dr. Pooja (MUST) vision behind its creation.

In closing remarks, the chief guest Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Prof. Vinod Kumar, Dr. Prof. Satish Sharma & Dr. Prof. Nishith from the IQAC team, Dean Prof. A.S. Suresh, Dean Prof. Sushil Manav, commended the authors and publishers for their commendable efforts in promoting ethical education through this comprehensive guide. Dr. Rohit Yadav, Dr. Sarika, Mr. Shashi Kumar Pandey, Mr. Tushar Gulia, Mr. Kranti Anand, and Mr. Abhishek Dubey congratulated her.

The book “Human Values & Professional Ethics” is now available for students, educators, and professionals, and is expected to make a significant contribution to the advancement of ethical education in the region.
