SGT University offers a Free sports Health camp for the Karate players

The Faculty of Physiotherapy along with other Faculties of the university played an active role in organizing the camp today at Sai Karate Academy, located in Fighting Center- M3, Block M, South City 1, Gurugram. The health camp provided a free health check-up for the players who have participated in many state and national level championships
Three MPT 1st year students, Three MPT 2nd year students and 4 students of BPT 7th semester accompanied Dr. Neha Reyalch and Dr. Sajjan Pal (Assistant Professor, FPHY) to the camp. They stalked some important equipment which were required for the smooth conduction of the camp along with them.
The camp was arranged in a big hall located on the ground floor. The check-up took place in a sequential manner starting with registration followed by assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Flexibility and Endurance was checked along with sports specific assessment of their health. If any participant complained of any specific health related issue in the scope of physiotherapy, it was thoroughly assessed and dealt with the use of exercises and modalities.
Approximately 30 Karate players were counseled in the free camp. The team received major appreciation from the school staff for which the team was provided with an Appreciation letter.
The fighting center was generous enough to provide the students and faculties with lunch after the completion of the camp. After lunch the team boarded the buses and proceeded back towards the campus.
