SGT University organizes Awareness Program

The Wellbeing Association under the Community Health Nursing Department of Faculty of Nursing, SGT University Gurugram organized an Awareness Programme on the occasion of “World Malaria Day at Daultabad, Gurgaon.
The main aim of the Malaria day is to create awareness regarding the prevention of malaria.
The activities included role-play & education on malaria, its causes, diagnosis, early treatment, and home care as well. More than 60 attendees were present at the program.
The program was organized by B. Sc nursing 2nd-year students under the supervision of Ms. Rachna, Ms. Sameeksha, Ms. Khiumajuliu Abonmai, Ms. Reena, and Mr. Naveen Faculty of Community Health Nursing Department in coordination with Ms. Deepa Mukherjee, Associate Professor Community Health Nursing Department under the guidance of Professor. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Dular, Dean cum HOD of community health nursing department.
More than 60 attendees were present at the program.
The program was attended by District Tuberculosis Officer – Dr. Keshav Sharma, MO I/C –Dr. Rajesh Yadav and MO- Dr. Rupali from Primary Health Centre Daulatbad. They also extended support for the physical conduction of the program & expert opinion was also shared on the theme to encourage people & students on how to control Malaria by promoting preventive measures.
