The Department of Public Health Dentistry participated in a medical & dental check-up camp at Happy Model School, Sheetla Colony, Gurugram.
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University in continuation with World Oral Health 2023-month long celebration activities participated in a medical & dental check-up camp along with specialist doctors from SGT Medical Hospital on 1
st April, 2023 (Saturday) at Happy Model School, Sheetla Colony, Gurugram. The dental team was headed by Dr. Shourya Tandon (Associate Dean and Prof and Head, Public Health Dentistry) along with Dr. Shikha (Periodontology), Dr. Diksha (Prosthodontics), 1 postgraduate student Dr. Pranav (Prosthodontics) and 4 interns Gaurav, Jatin, Ishaan & Pawan. Support Staff included Sunil, Darshan and Kuldeep. Dental checkup of 120 individuals and treatment to around 30 patients was provided to the people visiting the camp.
The Medical team was headed by Dr. Sansar Chand Sharma, Ex Dean & Prof and Head, Orthopedics along with other doctors from Medicine, Gyanecology and other clinical departments. From SGT University, the whole collaboration was orgsnised by Mr. Vijender, Mr. Ratan, Mr.
Anil and Mr. Kanahiya. The occasion of the Mega Health camp was the 7th Birth Anniversary of Ch. Moredhuj and was organised by Mr. Suresh Chaudhary & Mr. Ravi Chaudhary. The camp was inaugurated by Mahamandeleshwar Swami Dhardev who is the founder of Pataudi Ashram. Other administrative Officers from Gurgaon were also present. A total of around 400 people were provided with medical and dental health care which included nearby residents and adopted children by the organisers.
