Department of Special Education, Faculty of Education, SGT University organized a series of four CBR Programmes “Under the Academic
Associations”. Friday was the 2nd CBR program with B.Ed. and D.Ed. special education & B. ED (General) trainees. This Community-Based Programme was organized at Rawata Village Gurgaon, the main purpose behind this Programme is to be aware of 21 disabilities in a rural area. Students from the Department of Special Education performed a nukkad natak, students showed the scene of the regular classroom and suggested the positive aspects of including the students with special needs in regular school and aware of the audience present over there
appreciated the program and showed their positive gesture towards the cause. The audience expressed the same issue with regard to children with disabilities. The program was organized by Prof. (Dr.) Madhavi Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Education, coordinated by Ms. Poonam Talwar, Asst. Prof. Mr. Ravinder Saini, Asst. Prof Mr. Sandeep Kumar Asst.Prof. And Co-coordinated by Mr. Praveen Kumar jat, Dr. Neha Sharma, Mr.Abhra Mukherjee and Mr.Sarfarz Iqbal.
