The faculty of nursing celebrates International Women’s Day at Village Mushedpur, Gurugram.
The Wellbeing association under the community health nursing department, and the faculty of nursing at SGT University, in collaboration with SVSP (Samajik Vikas SGT ka Prayas), celebrated International Women’s Day on Saturday.
The program was started with a welcome address by Ms. Preeti Devi, Sarpanch of the village and a total of 85 women of all age groups participated in various competitions under the program like Mehndi, Debate, Singing, and Dancing. A Nukkad Natak was performed by nursing students on the topic of Women’s Empowerment. The winner of Mehndi, debate, singing, and dance competition were felicitated with prizes. The program was organized by G.N.M. & Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing 2nd-year students under the supervision of Ms. Nutan, Ms. Rachna, Mr. Naveen, and Ms. Pratibha, Faculty of CHN Department under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Dular, HOD of Community Health Nursing & Prof. (Dr.) Pity Koul, Dean, FNUR. The program was highly acknowledged and appreciated by Ms. Preeti, the village Sarpanch, and all women present over there. We are thankful to the Village Sarpanch for providing us with the space and for their immense support and collaboration in the successful organization of this program.
