The Haryana state government organizes a send-off ceremony for 16 children participating in the Special Olympics

On the auspicious occasion of the Special Olympics world games to be held from 17th -24 th June 2023 in Berlin, Germany. The Haryana state government organized a send-off ceremony for 16 children participating in the Special Olympics. The event was inaugurated by a torch-bearing ceremony at the Nehru Stadium, Gurugram. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Home Minister, Shri Anil Vij, renowned Wrestler Babita Phogat, Dr. Mailka Nada (Chairperson, Special Olympics), and Dr. Joginder Yadav (Registrar, SGT University). They appreciated the participants for their hard work and the enthusiasm they carry to represent the nation on the international platform. Various other eminent personalities were also present at the event. 24 students of BPT 4th and 3rd year of
the faculty of physiotherapy also became part of this send-off ceremony and performed their duties with the feeling of pride and excellence.
