The Path to Success Lies through Challenges: Anita Saxena

Gurugram: 25 January. Congratulating the students on the third and last day of the ninth convocation ceremony of SGT University, Vice Chancellor Prof. Anita Saxena  of  Pt. B.D. Sharma University Health Sciences, Rohtak said that career choice should never be made under pressure from anyone.

While addressing the students she said success is guaranteed if right career choice is made. She also advised the students to be dedicated in whatever line of work they choose but it should be relevant to their interest. She said that one should never be afraid of failures in life because the way to success can be found only through failures. Prof. Saxena was addressing the students at the Convocation Ceremony as the Chief Guest.

The special guest of the event, Dr. Rajesh Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, Panacea Biotech Ltd. (New Delhi) said that SGT University is a good platform with varied courses. He also advised the students to never give up in life. He said that research, creative values and the spirit of innovation are necessary in every walk of life.

At the beginning of the event, Vice Chancellor , Dr. O. P. Kalra welcomed the guests and presented the annual report of the university. A souvenir of the university was also released on the occasion.

The convocation ceremony was duly inaugurated by Padma Shri Shri Ram Bahadur Rai, Chancellor of SGT University. On this occasion, Chairperson of Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust Mrs. Madhupreet Kaur Chawla, Managing Trustee Mr. Manmohan Singh Chawla, Registrar Dr. Joginder Yadav including Controller of Examinations, University officials, teachers, students and their parents were present.

Degrees were awarded to students of Faculty of  Allied Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, Fashion and Design, Agricultural Sciences, Commerce and Management, Engineering and Technology, Education, Hotel and Tourism Management,Science and Mass Communication. Apart from this, gold medals were also awarded to the meritorious students of various faculties.
