A talk on AI and Media at SGT University
Gurugram: SGT University’s Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Technology recently organized a lecture on the topic ‘Artificial Intelligence and Media Education.’ The event’s keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Surbhi Dahiya, Course Director, Department of English Journalism, Indian Institute of Mass Communication.
During the lecture, Dr. Surbhi Dahiya emphasized the rapid progress of artificial intelligence in recent years. She discussed how artificial intelligence is making previously impossible tasks possible, and how this technological advancement is causing insecurity about job security in every field. However, Dr. Dahiya reminded attendees that artificial intelligence is a product of the human mind and cannot compete with human intelligence in any way.
