Actress, model Zoya Afroz launches fashion brand ‘Design for Life’ in SGT University

Noted model and actress Zoya Afroz today exhorted students to have belief in their capabilities, as everyone can attain good heights in their career with self-belief, skills, and consistency.
The actress-model was addressing students in SGT University, Gurugram before launching the fashion brand ‘Designer for Life’ developed by the Faculty of Fashion and Design of the university.
Talking about her journey to Miss India International and an actress, Zoya Afroz said that one may opt for any field, whether it is modeling, acting, medicine, or even mass communication, one has to work hard to get into some position.
She said students can learn not only from their teachers but also from each other.
She said that times of calling women pretty girls have gone, as now they should be called talented girls.
Zoya Afroz inaugurated the fashion brand ‘Designer for Life’ in presence of Chairperson of Shree Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust, Madhupreet Kaur Chawla and Managing Trustee, Manmohan Singh Chawla and exchanged pleasantries with them.
Speaking to SGT Times student reporter, Shambhavi Singh on this occasion, Zoya said she was very happy to be at SGT University.
“This university has a sprawling campus and a lot of faculties. Though she has not so far visited the entire campus, the areas she has visited she found wonderful,” the actress-model said.
Zoya Afroz, who is a member of the advisory board of the Faculty of Fashion and Design in SGT University, said she felt proud to be associated with this university.
Asked to give some message to the girls who want to become models like her, Zoya said they should work hard on themselves, but at the same time not take the pressure of that work.
“It is important to enjoy your work whatever you are doing life,” she added.
Before this, the actress had an interactive session with top university officers, including the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. OP Kalra, Pro VCs Dr. Vinod Kumar, Dr. Vikas Dhawan, Dr. Navdeep Singh Tung, and Dr. RK Mitra.
Zoya Afroz won Miss India International -2021 title and will be representing India in Miss International – 2022 to be held in Japan.
She visited the labs of the Faculty of Fashion and Design with Dean, Dr. MK Nair. She lauded the infrastructure available with the faculty.
She also interacted with the students and faculty members of the Faculty of Fashion and Designs, SGT University.
