Day 6 of Elective Observership Program of Students from Manipal University College Malaysia

Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology hosted 6 students from Manipal University College, Malaysia for Elective Observership Program.
The Day 6 on 25th March 2023 included observership of cases by students in the department and Surgical management of Zygomatic fracture in the operation theatre.
The students interacted with Prof Joginder Yadav, Registrar and Prof Sukhpal Singh, Pro-Vice Chancellor, SGT University.
A visit to National Reference Simulation Centre was organized for the students wherein students were exposed to high-fidelity mannequins and were explained about the different scenarios wherein simulation exercises help in developing the competency and skill proficiency among the students.
A brief hands-on on Intravenous, Intramuscular, subcutaneous injections and chest compressions was also given to the students by the training faculty at NRSC headed by Ms Anu Grover.
Overall, the students had a wonderful experience.
