Faculty of Indian Medical System hosted a wonderful event Arambham 2023 – the fresher’s party for the BAMS 2022-2023 Batch.

FIMS (Faculty of Indian Medical System) at SGT University hosted a wonderful event on 8th April 2023 –
Arambham 2023 – the fresher’s party for the BAMS 2022-2023 Batch. The event commenced with the
traditional lamp lighting and Dhanvantri Vandana. Dr. Konica Gera welcomed the chief guest and
dignitaries.
The Chief Guest of the event, Prof (Dr.) Vinod Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Admin), welcomed and
motivated the students to take up the BAMS course and become future healthcare providers.
Prof. Dr. Avnish Pathak, HOD, Department of Shalya Tantra, warmly welcomed the newly arrived
students in the FIMS family. He delivered the presidential address, highlighting the significance of
traditional Indian medical systems and their vital role in the healthcare sector.
The fresher's party showcased the new students’ talents through various performances like dancing,
singing, ramp walk, skit, poem, and shayari. The students put forth their best efforts, leaving the
audience mesmerized.

The event anchoring was expertly done by Jasleen, Karan, Namisha, Naman, Prabhat, Shilpa, Kushagra,
Liza, and Naman, who kept the audience engaged and entertained throughout the event. Vanshika and
Madhav extended a heartfelt Vote of Thanks to everyone involved in organizing and executing the
event.
At the end of the event, the winners were announced, and titles were awarded to the deserving
freshers. Diksha and Vaibhav were crowned Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher, respectively. Nikita and
Sameer were recognized as Ms. Talented and Mr. Talented. Finally, Rashi and Shamshad were awarded
the titles of Ms. Personality and Mr. Personality.
Overall, Arambham 2023 was an amazing event that showcased the exceptional talent and potential of
the newly arrived students at FIMS, SGT University. The event left a lasting impression on everyone who
was fortunate enough to attend.
