Japanese delegation meets the Managing Trustee of SGT University, Sh. Manmohan Singh Chawla

A Japanese delegation led by Dr. Juniya Onishi (Project Leader), Japan International Center for Agricultural Sciences, Japan met Sh. Man Mohan Singh Chawla, Managing Trustee, Dashmesh Educational Trust, in his office at SGT University, Gurugram. The delegation was accompanied by Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, SGT University and Dr. Gajender Yadav, Senior Scientist, ICAR-Central Soil Salinity Research Institute, Karnal. Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar apprised the delegation of the achievements of SGT University, especially the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, and the infrastructure and laboratory facilities available for students and researchers. Dr. Onishi appreciated the management and faculty of SGT University for their warm welcome and comfortable stay. Future collaborative activities between Japan International Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS) and SGT University will focus on drought and high temperature stress management, hydroponics, and urban agriculture.
