SGT University Celebrates Mango Festival 2026 with Flavours, Fun and Community Spirit
SGT University, Gurugram: The vibrant spirit of summer filled the campus as SGT University hosted its highly anticipated Mango Festival 2026 on July 7 at the Rabindranath Tagore Block (A Block). Organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in collaboration with the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, this annual festival celebrated India’s national fruit while bringing together students, faculty members, and distinguished guests for a day of learning, fun, and community bonding.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Rami Qtaishat, Assistant Secretary General of AARDO, who attended as the Chief Guest. His participation added prestige to the celebration and underscored the importance of promoting agriculture, food innovation, and cultural exchange through such academic events.
One of the festival’s biggest attractions was the exhibition showcasing nearly 40 varieties of mangoes, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the rich diversity of India’s most cherished fruit. Students, faculty, and guests enthusiastically interacted at the exhibition, learning about different mango varieties and their distinctive qualities.

The festival also included a series of engaging competitions that kept the campus lively throughout the day. Activities such as the maximum mango-eating contest, quizzes, and fireless cooking demonstrations encouraged creativity, participation, and friendly competition among students.
Enhancing the festive atmosphere were student-managed food stalls that offered a wide range of mango-inspired delicacies. Visitors enjoyed refreshing mango ice creams, tangy golgappes, candies, and several other creative dishes prepared with fresh mangoes. The stalls showcased the talent and enthusiasm of the students while giving everyone a chance to experience innovative flavors.
Beyond the food and competitions, Mango Festival 2026 celebrated togetherness and campus life. The event created opportunities for students from different faculties to interact, collaborate, and showcase their creativity in a lively and welcoming environment.
With its blend of education, culture, and culinary experiences, the festival once again proved to be one of SGT University’s most anticipated annual celebrations. From showcasing agricultural diversity to encouraging student participation and community engagement, Mango Festival 2026 successfully captured the true essence of the season while leaving participants with memorable experiences and a deeper appreciation for the “King of Fruits.”
