The Elective Observership Program for the Students from Manipal University College, Malaysia concluded on 27th March 2023.
The valedictory ceremony for the students was organized on 27th March 2023. The ceremony included reflection about the various activities conducted during the 9 days of stay from 19th-27th March 2023 through a video montage. The students were also presented with a University memento as a token of gratitude for the management at Manipal University College, Malaysia.
Certificates of completion of Elective Observership were presented to the students by the dignitaries comprising of Prof Vikas Dhawan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, SGT University, Prof Rajneesh Wadhwa, Dean, External Affairs, Prof Omkar Shetty, Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences and Dr Shourya Tandon, Associate Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences.
The Malaysian Students also shared their experiences about the 9 days at the campus. The event concluded by Vote of Thanks by Dr Astha Chaudhry, Professor and Incharge, OMR.
The students were also presented with the certificates for their participation in the workshops and sessions conducted by the department during their 9 days of stay.
Overall, the entire program was a grand success with enormous good memories for the students as well as the Department. We hope to host and train many more students in the near future.
