Day3 of the Elective Observership Program for the Students from Manipal University College Malaysia

Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology during the elective observership program for students from Manipal University College, Malaysia gave an enriched exposure to variety of cases on 22nd March 2023.
The day 3 of the program began with the discussion about OPG Interpretation by Dr Astha Chaudhry, Professor and Incharge, OMR. This was followed by the visit of the students to the departments of Dermatology, ENT and General Radiology for expsoure to muco-cutaneous lesions, ENT cases and head and neck cancers interpretation by CT. The visit was coordinated and executed by Dr Komal Sharma, Assistant Professor,OMR. Students took keen interest and all their queries were effectively resolved by the faculty at SGT Medical Hospital.

In order to give exposure about the comprehensive management of Oral Cancer, Field visit to American Oncology Institute was organized wherein students were given exposure about the radiotherapeutic management of Oral Cancers. Dr Puneeta Vohra,Professor, Dr Vishesh Yadav, Associate Professor, and Dr Srividya, Assistant Professor accompanied the students along with 15 interns.
Overall, the students are extremely happy to get the diverse exposure about the head and neck pathologies and their management.
