AgriSURE Fund, Krishi Portal Launched by Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Tomorrow (03 September 2024) Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will inaugurate the AgriSURE Fund and the Krishi Nivesh Portal at a prestigious event held at PUSA, New Delhi. This significant launch aims to bolster agricultural development and investment in the sector.

The event will also feature the conferment of the AIF Excellence Awards. These awards recognize outstanding performance by banks and states in the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) scheme, which was established in 2020. The AIF scheme focuses on enhancing post-harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets, and the awards serve to acknowledge the exceptional contributions of various entities in advancing these goals.

Joining Shri Chouhan will be Union Ministers of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Bhagirath Choudhary and Shri Ram Nath Thakur.
