India’s First AI-Generated Film Naisha Set to Redefine Cinema
Mumbai, May 2025 – In a cinematic first for India, the highly anticipated film Naisha is set to premiere this May, marking the arrival of the nation’s first AI-generated film. Directed by Vivek Anchalia—known for Tikdam and Rajma Chawal—Naisha is produced by Pori Bhuyan, Shweta Sharma Anchalia, and Joseph Franklin, with Parth Ahuja as the executive producer.
What sets Naisha apart is its complete dependence on artificial intelligence for the creation of its visuals, characters, and sound design. Lead characters Naisha Bose and Zain Kapoor are entirely AI-generated, navigating a heartfelt love story that spans Kolkata, Paris, and Switzerland.
The film is a flagship project from Amazing Indian Stories (AIS), a pioneering AI-powered film studio revolutionizing content creation by drastically reducing production time and cost while maintaining cinematic quality.
Music With a Digital Heartbeat
The soundtrack, another milestone in innovation, merges AI-generated elements with human musical mastery. The music is composed by Daniel B. George (Andhadhun), Madhubanti Bagchi (Stree 2), Protijyoti Ghosh, and Ujjwal Kashyap, offering hits like Ruhaniyaan, Manmaniyaan, Cheater Saiyaan, and Jaane Kahan.
Story, Technology, and Emotion
Naisha tells a futuristic tale of identity and consciousness, where human emotions intersect with AI intelligence. The plot explores how technology reshapes relationships and personal discovery in a world where machines not only assist but feel.
From scriptwriting to animation and dialogue delivery, AI tools were used to simulate human behavior, generate emotionally resonant dialogue, and construct stunning digital environments. The result is a visually arresting, emotionally rich experience that pushes the limits of filmmaking.
More Than a Film, a Conversation Starter
While Naisha promises an entertaining experience, it also raises profound questions: Can AI create emotionally intelligent stories? What does the rise of machine-generated art mean for human creativity?
According to director Vivek Anchalia, Naisha is not about replacing humans but enhancing creativity through AI collaboration, opening doors for independent filmmakers, and democratizing the art form.
As anticipation builds, Naisha stands as a bold experiment, a creative triumph, and a glimpse into the future of global cinema. Don’t miss this genre-defying film when it hits theatres in May 2025.
