SGT University’s Faculty of Behavioural Sciences organizes an online training program on “Essential Ingredients of an Excellent Career Coach”

The Faculty of Behavioural Sciences, SGT University, Gurugram, organized an online training program on the topic “Essential Ingredients of an Excellent Career Coach.” In this speaker of the program Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Chadha, President, International Career Coach Association, USA, and former Head Psychology Department, University of Delhi explained the importance of career coaching and career coaching as a profession in India and abroad. He discussed the guidelines of career coaching in detail and focused on ethical issues in career coaching. Training started with the welcome address by Dean FBSC Prof. (Dr.) Rajbir Singh. The event was attended by university officials Pro-Chancellor R.C. Kuhad, Pro. V.C. Prof. (Dr.) N.S. Tung, Prof. Dr. Waheeda Khan, along with the faculty and students of FBSC. The training program was organized in online mode keeping in mind COVID-19 guidelines. Students of Undergraduate and Postgraduate clinical psychology participated (B.SC and M.SC) A total number of 113 participants attended the training. The role of participating Students is that they will know the skill development for career coaching. The expected outcome understood by students is they will learn what are the career opportunities in career coaching in India and Abroad along with the Importance of career coaching for the youth.
At the end of the training program, Dr. Nudrat Jahan presented the votes of thanks to the Dignitaries present in the training program.
