SGT University Hosts International Kho Kho Coaching Course Level 3A
Gurugram, June 4, 2025 — The Faculty of Physiotherapy at SGT University is proud to host the prestigious International Kho Kho Course Level 3A for Coaches, organized in collaboration with the Kho Kho Federation of India. This high-level training program commenced on June 2, 2025, and is aimed at enhancing the global standards of coaching in one of India’s oldest traditional sports.
Day 1 began with a vibrant inauguration ceremony, celebrating the start of a transformative journey for participating coaches. The program has attracted attendees from various states and countries, highlighting Kho Kho’s growing international recognition.
Day 2 opened with on-field practical sessions designed to equip participants with advanced technical and tactical skills essential for modern Kho Kho coaching. The sessions were followed by an inspiring lecture by Dr. Sajjan Pal, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Sports, who emphasized biomechanical and performance strategies.
Adding to the academic depth of the program, an esteemed guest speaker engaged the coaches in an interactive session that blended experience with innovation in coaching methodology.
The day also featured a critical Basic Life Support (BLS) training session, conducted by the NRC Lab, underscoring the importance of safety in sports environments. The evening concluded with another focused on-field training module, reinforcing the day’s learning outcomes.
